Rangers manager Mark Warburton has told the club's official website that striker Martyn Waghorn will score even more goals this season.
Rangers kept up their 100% record in competitive games this season, beating Dumbarton 2-1 away from home this afternoon.
Two goals from Martyn Waghorn gave Rangers the win, meaning they have now won all seven of their Scottish Championship fixtures.
It has been a remarkable start to the season for Rangers, who currently look like winning the division at a canter having already opened up a seven point lead at the top.
After the game, manager Warburton spoke to the Rangers official website, and heaped praise on goal hero Waghorn after hi brace.
Waghorn joined Rangers from Wigan Athletic over the summer, and has now made it 11 goals in 11 games since his move to Ibrox - and Warburton lauded his striker, before predicting even more goals from the forward this season.
"We said right at the very start that Martyn Waghorn had to play games, and he is doing that and he is getting better and better," said Warburton."He beats himself up when he misses chances, but he is creating them and working hard right, left and centre, and I’m delighted for him and he will get more goals this season," he added.
The former Sunderland youngster has established himself as Rangers' main source of goals already this season, and he will certainly be expected to keep up his sensational form throughout the campaign.
