A select round-up of the latest news relating to Leeds United…

Leeds United take on MK Dons at Stadium MK this afternoon as Uwe Rosler’s side look to get back to winning ways after losing 1-0 to Ipswich Town last time out.

That was Leeds’ first Championship defeat of the season and Rosler will be hoping it is their last for quite some time.

Leeds are currently 14th in the league with eight points from their first seven matches, while the Dons are two places and one point worse off than today’s opponents.

In early team news, the BBC reports that recent Leeds signing Jordan Botaka could make his eagerly anticipated debut while Mirco Antenucci is hoping to keep his place alongside summer signing Chris Wood up front.

As for MK Dons, they are without the injured Mark Randall, Darren Potter and Cody Cropper.

In other news, Rosler has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that more of his players need to show the same kind of fight as midfielder Lewis Cook.

The young Leeds talent has impressed so far this season and after committing opposing defenders Rosler wants others to follow his lead and prompt more goal-scoring chances for his side.

“In that game (against Ipswich) we didn’t have it – apart from Cooky,” Rosler told the YEP. “We need that quality to make sure defenders have to commit.”
