Confirmed: Newcastle v Watford lineups - Cisse keeps place, Perez handed start

Here is how Newcastle and Watford will line up for today's Premier League clash.

Newcastle are looking to bounce back from Monday's 2-0 away defeat to West Ham United as they take on Watford today.

The Magpies have yet to win in the Premier League this season, with new manager Steve McClaren searching for his first victory at the sixth attempt this afternoon.

Today, McClaren has again started with Papiss Cisse in attack despite his anonymous display against West Ham, with Aleksandar Mitrovic still suspended following his red card against Arsenal.

Ayoze Perez is also handed a place in the side, with Vurnon Anita dropping to the bench, suggesting that Moussa Sissoko or Georginio Wijnaldum could be pushed back into central midfield.

Visitors Watford won their first Premier League game of the season last weekend, beating Swansea City 1-0 at Vicarage Road - scoring just their third goal of the campaign in the process.

Quique Sanchez Flores is without midfielder Valon Behrami following his red card against Swansea, with Ben Watson coming in to the side.

Star striker Odion Ighalo will be looking to continue his fine form, whilst summer signings Steven Berghuis, Nathan Ake, Alessandro Diamanti, Giedrius Arlauskis, Adlene Guedioura and deadline day arrival Victor Ibarbo are all available from the bench.
