Confirmed: Bournemouth and Sunderland line-ups

Here is how Bournemouth and Sunderland will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Bournemouth welcome Sunderland to the Vitality Stadium later today with both sides eager to get three more points on the board.

Recently promoted Bournemouth have four points to date but they lost last time out to Norwich City and will want to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

The same can be said for Sunderland but in a slightly different context, with the Black Cats yet to win a match this season, sitting second from bottom as a result with only fierce rivals Newcastle United below them on goals scored.

This is the first time these two sides will have met in the top flight, with the last encounter taking place in the old Second Division back in 1990.

A lot has changed since then for both sides and Bournemouth are now searching for their first home win in the Premier League after recently getting the better of West Ham United in a seven-goal thriller at Upton Park.

Without a victory in their last eight league matches, Sunderland will have to pull out all the stops to turn things around this afternoon.
