Confirmed: Aston Villa and West Brom line-ups

Here is how Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion will line up this afternoon:

Aston Villa welcome West Bromwich Albion to Villa Park in a huge derby match this afternoon.

Villa are currently 15th in the Premier League table while the Baggies are one point and one place better off.

Villa manager Tim Sherwood will not want another weekend like the last when his side saw a two-goal lead turn into a 3-2 defeat in just 17 second-half minutes against Leicester City.

As for West Brom, they drew 0-0 with Southampton last time out and manager Tony Pulis will know he has the strike-force to go one better this time out and get three points against their fierce rivals

Sherwood won his first match in charge of Villa in the corresponding fixture last season, so he has good memories that he will want to replicate; but matches like this really can go either way.

With 13 clean sheets in West Brom’s 23 league games under Pulis, Villa’s forwards will have to be at their best to break down their opponents later today.
