The attacking midfielder is looking for a new club after leaving the Chicago Fire.
It has certainly been tough as a Blackpool fan for the past couple of seasons. The club is in turmoil both on and off the pitch and after suffering relegation from The Championship last season their much changed squad is now sitting second from bottom in the League One table.
While things may be a struggle for the club it looks as though they are doing their utmost to change things, with a potential big signing coming through the door.
The player in question is Guly Do Prado. The Brazilian attacking midfielder is training with the club as this photo from the Blackpool Gazette’s William Watt on Twitter highlights:
Do Prado is currently a free agent after leaving the MLS side Chicago Fire in August. Now he is training with the view to a contract at Bloomfield Road – and would bring some much needed guile to The Seasiders.
Of course Do Prado has plenty of experience in the English football league. He spent five years at Southampton in his career, helping them to promotion from both the Championship and League One.
However, the former Saint is now 33-years-old and certainly passed his best. That being said, he can surely do no harm to the already dysfunctional Blackpool family.
