Paul Frankfurt, head of block trades for Bank of America in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has left the firm to join investment advisory services business Anoa Capital S.A.

Bloomberg News reports that Frankfurt, who joined the U.S. investment bank in 1999, according to his LinkedIn profile, will help set up the global markets division of Anoa, according to an e-mailed statement. Robin Bagchi will head the division.

In the meantime, Bloomberg also reports that Jefferies Group hired Tim Brennan, who ran high-yield debt trading for Credit Suisse in the Americas, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Brennan is co-head of high-yield bond trading with Tim Sullivan, who was appointed to lead that unit last year, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified discussing personnel.
