Pellegrini gives Manchester City injury update: Impact for West Ham

Manchester City will face West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has told the club’s official Twitter page that Sergio Aguero is fit enough to play against West Ham United at home this weekend.

City will take on the Hammers at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Pellegrini has revealed that star striker Aguero is 100% fit to play for the Citizens, but he has ruled out key central defender Vincent Kompany.

Impact for West Ham United

Aguero being fully fit will be a concern for West Ham, who will have to be wary of the danger the Argentina international striker will pose.

The former Atletico Madrid star is arguably the best striker in the Premier League, and he will certainly cause problems for the West Ham defenders.

The absence of Kompany, though, is a boost for West Ham manager Slaven Bilic and his players.

The Belgium international is one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League, and his absence is going to help the likes of Dimitri Payet and Victor Moses run at the City defence.
