Spurs will take on Palace at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and Liverpool legend Lawrenson has backed the North London outfit to win 2-0 and pick up all three points.
“Crystal Palace put up a good fight in their defeat to Manchester City last weekend, but they did not ever really have a spell where they put City under any pressure,” the former Liverpool star wrote on BBC Sport.
“This is another tough game for Alan Pardew's side because Tottenham's win at Sunderland will have done them the world of good after their slow start to the season.”
Tottenham Hotspur are favourites
Tottenham did not start the 2015-16 campaign strongly, but they have begun to pick up some good form after the international break.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side defeated Sunderland 1-0 away from home at the Stadium of Light last weekend.
Then on Thursday evening, Spurs got the better of FK Qarabag 3-1 at White Hart Lane in the Europa League Group J.
However, Tottenham cannot get complacent, as Palace are a good side and have been playing well this season.
Although Alan Pardew’s side lost 1-0 to Manchester City last weekend, they gave a good account of themselves at Selhurst Park and could have picked up a point.
