There are high hopes for Sullay Kaikai's future at Crystal Palace.
Sullay Kaikai has reacted on Twitter after he completed a loan switch from Crystal Palace to Shrewsbury Town on Thursday.
Kaikai has signed for Shrewsbury until January, as he looks to gain some vital experience of playing first-team football, and he is looking forward to the opportunity.
The 20-year-old says that he is pleased to have made the temporary move, and has also taken the time to show his gratitude to supporters who have wished him well.
Kaikai is considered to be one of Palace's brightest young prospects, but breaking into Alan Pardew's team is tough for a winger.
The likes of Wilfried Zaha, Yannick Bolasie and Bakary Sako were all blocking Kaikai's path into the starting line-up and, as a result, he has been forced to move down the leagues to find some regular action.
So far the tricky winger's experience has been acquired during loan spells with Crawley Town and, more recently, Cambridge United.
He joins Shrewsbury as they look to adapt to playing at League One level following promotion last term. Micky Mellon's team are currently in 16th place in the third tier standings.
