Chelsea v Arsenal predicted lineups and match preview

Even at this early stage, this game could hold huge significance for both sides, with no love lost between the two managers.

To be played on Saturday 19th September 2015 at 12:45. Venue: Stamford Bridge, London

Odds: Chelsea 17/12, Draw 31/12, Arsenal 21/10

After a difficult start to their league campaign, Chelsea can go into this game with new-found confidence after their emphatic Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv.

But it still doesn't take any pressure off Jose Mourinho's side, who have lost three of their opening five games this season, and it feels like a must-win for the Blues even at this early stage, as they are already 11 points off the pace in the title race.

Arsenal's start to the season has seen them take 10 points from their opening five games - which is decent, if unspectacular. They don't seem to have found the consistency which suggests they are going to be a force to be reckoned with, and that was further illustrated by their midweek defeat to Dinamo Zagreb - even if it was a much-changed side. One would expect the first team players left out of the starting XI there to return for this weekend's game.

A win for either side will be a big statement. For Chelsea it will be about rediscovering their best form after a very difficult start to the campaign, but a win for Arsenal will show that they can beat the very best sides away from home - and there may even be talk of a title challenge if that were to happen.
