Chelsea-owned Crystal Palace forward Patrick Bamford has taken to social networking site Twitter to send Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli a congratulatory message.
Former Nottingham Forest youngster Bamford sent 19-year-old midfielder Alli the message following the latter’s role in the second Tottenham goal against FK Qarabag on Thursday evening.
The England Under-21 international started the Europa League Group J encounter at White Hart Lane and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side won 3-1.
Alli was the architect of Spurs' second goal of the evening, as it was he who laid the ball for Son Heung-min to finish from close range on the half-hour mark.
Bamford, who plays with Alli for the England Under-21 team, was impressed with the youngster’s skill for the goal.
