Alan Pardew quizzed about Tottenham’s interest in Yannick Bolasie

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has told the club’s official Twitter page that there was no concrete interest in Yannick Bolasie from Tottenham Hotspur.

The 26-year-old winger was linked with a move away from Palace in the summer transfer window, with Premier League rivals Tottenham reported to be interest in his services by The Daily Star.

Bolasie, though, remains a Palace player for now, and Pardew has made it clear that Spurs did not make a bid for the DR Congo international.

Bolasie is one of the best players for Palace and was in good form for the Eagles last season, especially in the second half.

The winger scored four goals and created 45 chances in 34 Premier League appearances during the 2014-15 campaign.

The former Bristol City player had a pass accuracy of 71% and a shot accuracy of 42%, and won 38 headers, 89 dribbles and 42 tackles.

Bolasie has yet to score in the Premier League this campaign, but he has created one chance in four matches.

The former Plymouth Argyle man has a pass accuracy of 74% and a shot accuracy of 40%, and has won three headers and three dribbles.
