Rangers youngster Thompson has been stuck on the sidelines through injury.
Taking to Twitter, Jordan Thompson has confirmed he is back in training with Rangers, having been stuck on the sidelines through injury.
Thompson moved to Rangers over the summer, agreeing a switch to Ibrox from Manchester United’s youth academy.
He has yet to make an appearance for Mark Warburton’s side, but the midfielder is highly rated by the manager, and he was named on the substitutes bench for the Challenge Cup victory over Hibernian, as well as two league fixtures.
However, he was injured at the beginning of September, taking him out of first-team training with the Gers.
However, he is now back in action, and with him confirming that he has been in training today, Thompson is ready to take to the field again.
This weekend’s game against Dumbarton could come too soon for Thompson, but the 18-year-old should be ready to take to the field next week, when the Gers take on St. Johnstone in the Scottish League Cup.
