QPR fans react to Gabriele Angella's performance against Blackburn Rovers on Twitter

Queens Park Rangers drew 2-2 with Blackburn Rovers in Championship action on Wednesday night.

Queens Park Rangers supporters have generally praised Gabriele Angella for his commanding performance against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night.

The defender, who is on loan from Watford, has immediately come into Chris Ramsey's line-up, and his initial impression has largely been a positive one.

Although QPR conceded twice in a 2-2 draw, the Italian dominated the Rovers front-line and stood up well to facing the prolific Jordan Rhodes.

Angella was one of Watford's key players last term, as they made it into the Premier League, and it is no surprise to see him excelling back in the Championship.

His start at Loftus Road has encouraged supporters that he could have a big role to play, as Chris Ramsey's side look to bounce back from relegation in 2014/15.

The R's are in a transitional period, but they are still hoping to challenge in the upper echelons of the table, and will be reliant on Angella maintaining his high standards if they are to meet their target.

Here is the best reaction from QPR supporters to Angella's performance on social media site Twitter after the Blackburn match yesterday evening.
