Liverpool defender Joe Gomez says Liverpool are disappointed not to be coming away from France with a victory.
The Reds went 1-0 up against Bordeaux through a goal from Adam Lallana, before being pegged back by an equaliser from Brazilian substitute Jussie.
Gomez played all 90 minutes once again and was highly impressive, winning the joint highest number of aerial duels with four - matched only by Mamadou Sakho.
Given that Liverpool let a lead slip, Gomez felt underwhelmed the team did not to get the win, but a draw was not a disaster.
Disappointing not to get all 3 points but a decent point to take back to Anfield... Travelling support was quality #lfc— Joe Gomez (@J_Gomez97) September 17, 2015
Liverpool needed to avoid defeat after losing two consecutive games, and have at least steadied the ship with a solid away draw.
Their chances of progression through their Europa League group remain strong, providing they can follow up the result with home wins.
The Reds had six shots on target to Bordeaux's five, holding 55 per cent of possession during the draw.
