Harry Redknapp has told the Glasgow Evening Times that it's 'only a matter of time' before Rangers win promotion back to the Scottish Premiership.
With a 100% record under Warburton, many Rangers fans are now hopeful that they can not only win promotion, but possibly even go the whole season unbeaten in what would be a historic achievement.
Now, former Spurs and Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has offered his view on Rangers' sensational start to the campaign.
Redknapp has told the Glasgow Evening Times that the backing from the new regime at Ibrox - led by the consortium of Dave King, Paul Murray and John Gilligan - have been important in the success so far, backing manager Warburton with a number of new signings over the summer.
Redknapp also predicted that sooner rather than later, Rangers will be back in the Scottish Premiership, having impressed so much in the first few weeks of the campaign.
"That’s all important," said Redknapp of the Rangers board. "You need to know where the club is looking and the new owners appear to making Rangers stable again. It’s only a matter of time before they are back in the top flight and fighting for the Premiership," he added.
Once Rangers are promoted - which may well be this season - there will be certainly be an expectation from supporters that Rangers immediately challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the title. That may take some time, but with Warburton at the helm, the future finally looks bright for Rangers.
