Adam Lallana seized his chance to make an impact for Liverpool, by scoring an impressive opener in the Europa League clash with Bordeaux.
The England international nutmegged a defender before placing the ball past the goalkeeper, to open his account for the season.
Lallana had been having a poor game up until that point, but the strike will be the moment which is remembered.
His goal drew applause from teammate Christian Benteke via Twitter, who had been rested for the clash, and former star Jamie Carragher had praise for Lallana too.

Brilliant from Lallana that.— Jamie Carragher (@Carra23) September 17, 2015
Lallana has made just two Premier League appearances so far this season, and his goal was a good way to grab manager Brendan Rodgers' attention.
Aside from his strike he did not have much more to boast about. He touched the ball just __ times, and recorded a pass completion rate of ___.
His goal was not enough to win Liverpool the game, with poor defending bringing about an equaliser, to continue their poor European away form which held them back last season.
