The Leeds United defender impressed in a key area on Tuesday evening.
Leeds United suffered their first league defeat of the season this week when they lost 1-0 at home to Ipswich Town.
Uwe Rosler’s side failed to stamp their authority on the match and they managed just one shot on target in the entire 90 minutes.
That was simply not good enough for a team playing at home or for a side chasing the game for 60 minutes after Tommy Smith gave Ipswich the lead on the half-hour mark.

Centre-back Sol Bamba had a poor match at the weekend against Brentford and he could not ensure Leeds kept a clean sheet this time out, but the Ivorian did set a season-high Championship record when it came to interceptions won.
The 30-year-old won 10 interceptions in total, suggesting he is beginning to play his way back into form.
The Leeds defender also won eight duels and five aerial battles but he has work to do when it comes to his passing accuracy – something that was outstanding when he first arrived on loan last season.
Still, it is up to the players ahead of him to start creating more chances and ultimately put some of them away, and it will be interesting to see what the next few weeks have in store for Rosler and his Leeds players.
