The combative Israeli left Parkhead for Brighton in January.
Former Celtic midfielder Beram Kayal has sent a thinly veiled message to his former club on Twitter after a storming start to the season.
The Israeli’s current club Brighton and Hove Albion have enjoyed a fantastic start to their Championship campaign and currently sit top after picking up 19 points from a possible 21.
The 26-year old has been instrumental in the The Seagulls' recent performances and following last night’s 2-1 victory over Rotherham, Kayal retweeted the following comment from a fan:
Kayal swapped Glasgow for the South Coast in January this year after failing to convince Ronny Deila of his talents.
The Israeli international enjoyed four successful seasons at Parkhead prior to the Norwegian’s arrival but found himself slipping further down the pecking order with the likes of Nir Bitton and Stefan Johansen preferred in midfield roles.
His latest social media comment suggests a hint of frustration over how things panned out at Celtic and on the form he is currently displaying in England, it’s little wonder he feels aggrieved.
