Video: Chelsea's Eden Hazard's launches Champions League penalty into orbit

We're not sure how he managed to miss, but it sure was funny!

It has been 51 days since Jose Mourinho claimed Chelsea's Belgian ace Eden Hazard was better than Real Madrid hero Cristiano Ronaldo.

And so far this season, he's not really had a good time of it, picking up just one assist and not really threatening the goal at all.

So when Chelsea were taking on Maccabi Tel Aviv in their opening Champions League fixture, we thought he might just get a chance to break his duck.

And the Blues managed to get themselves a penalty after just five minutes and with Hazard on the pitch and a great penalty taker, he grabbed the ball and looked set to smash home his first of the season.

Or so we thought!

Somehow, the Belgian thumped his spot kick into orbit and we reckon we've see it finally come down, much to the annoyance of Harry Redknapp...

We're not sure if Hazard will get back into some form, but we're looking forward to seeing if he can when the Blues take on Arsene Wenger's Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
