Aaron Cresswell on what Michail Antonio and Victor Moses have brought to West Ham

West Ham Upton Park

West Ham United signed Michail Antonio from Nottingham Forest and Victor Moses from Chelsea on deadline day.

Aaron Cresswell has told West Ham United's official site that he is pleased to have seen Victor Moses and Michail Antonio move to Upton Park, as they offer the side pace going forward.

Antonio and Moses both joined the Hammers on deadline day and they have increased the attacking options available to Slaven Bilic.

Cresswell feels that will be important for his team, as the season progresses, and he was pleased to see Moses make such an impact on his debut, where he claimed an assist in a 2-0 win against Newcastle United.

“We’ve got [Diafra] Sakho up top, Victor Moses and the new signing Michail Antonio too, who all have pace," he said to the club's website. "It’s nice to have that out ball and an outlet to get up the pitch. I think Victor coming in and making his home debut was fantastic.

“It’s early doors, but looking at us fifth in the table is nice. We have to look to be consistent throughout the year.”

The Hammers have started the season impressively, picking up wins against Liverpool and Arsenal away from home before the aforementioned triumph over Newcastle.

There are high hopes of the impact that Antonio and Moses can make, too, as both offer a pace and strength to the squad, which compliments the players they already have in their squad.

West Ham have the likes of Dimitri Payet, Mark Noble and Alex Song, who all have the passing ability to unlock defences, and with Antonio and Moses in their team they also have the power to bludgeon their way through.

It makes for an exciting future, and Bilic will be hoping that his side can continue their good early season form for as long as possible.
