The on-loan Chelsea winger made his debut in a comfortable victory on Monday night.
West Ham United debutant Victor Moses has, to the club's official website, lauded the contributions of Dimitri Payet, Diafra Sakho and Manuel Lanzini in the Hammers’ 2-0 triumph over Newcastle United last night.
Slaven Bilic’s men were in scintillating form and proved superior to the Magpies across the pitch.
On-loan Chelsea winger Moses impressed and gave the West Ham faithful a taste of what’s to come with a pacey, powerful display.
The 24-year old was happy with his Upton Park bow and highlighted the quality of his team-mates in helping him to settle.
"I think I’ve settled in quickly. I just wanted to go out there and enjoy it. Everything fell into place and it felt good out there,” he told whufc.com.
"You can see that we’ve got a lot of quality. Going forward we were all enjoying ourselves. Payet and Sakho were excellent and Lanzini as well. Our full-backs pushed on well which also helped, we just enjoyed ourselves really."
Last night’s victory was West Ham’s third of the season and takes them up to fifth place in the table.
The picture would be looking even rosier had they not slipped up at home to Leicester City and Bournemouth, and the early signs of something special developing are clear to see.
In Dimitri Payet, the Hammers look to have completed the deal of the summer, and the likes of Moses and Lanzini have complemented the mercurial Frenchman excellently.
The flurry of deadline day deals has given Bilic’s team decent squad depth and with no Europa League to concern themselves with, this season could see their highest Premier League finish in years.
