Rangers star James Tavernier has made a stunning start to life at Ibrox - and he has now been rewarded for that with the Scottish Championship Player of the Month award.
Tavernier, 23, came up through the ranks with Leeds United and then Newcastle United, before joining Wigan Athletic in 2014 - yet having failed to make much of an impact in England, the right back chose to leave and head north of the border.
After releasing Richard Foster and Sebastian Faure, new Rangers manager Mark Warburton moved to take Tavernier to Ibrox, and his decision has certainly been repaid so far.
Tavernier has already hit six goals in ten games for Rangers despite being a defender, and his exploits have earned him the Scottish Championship Player of the Month award - prompting this response from Tavernier himself.
After the news broke, a number of Tavernier's Rangers team-mates also took to Twitter in order to respond to Tavernier's success.
