Erik Lamela and Younes Kaboul exchange messages on Twitter

Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur faced each other at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul.

Lamela and Kaboul were teammates at Tottenham for two years before the latter was sold by the North London outfit to Premier League rivals Sunderland in the summer transfer window.

The duo played against each other in the Premier League match at the Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon.

The game ended in a 1-0 victory for Spurs, thanks to England international midfielder Ryan Mason’s strike in the 82nd minute.

Following the match, Lamela and French centre-back Kaboul exchanged messages with each other on Twitter.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Stadium of Light, hosts Sunderland had 44% of the possession, took 12 shots of which just two were on target, and earned six corners.

Visiting Tottenham had 56% of the possession, took 15 shots of which four were on target, and earned eight corners.
