Victor Moses has told West Ham United's official website that Dimitri Payet is one of the best players that he has ever played with.
Moses has joined the Hammers on loan from Chelsea, but he believes that Payet's ability rivals that of any of his former teammates at Stamford Bridge.
The praise comes after Payet scored twice for West Ham to help them to a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on Monday, in what was Moses' debut.
"Payet is definitely up there with the best players I’ve played with; he’s got huge ability as his showed with both his goals," Moses said. "His touch, his skill he’s quick too, he’s definitely up there with the best I’ve played alongside."
Moses himself made a positive impression in the Premier League fixture, and seems to have added further quality to West Ham's already well-stocked attacking unit.
Slaven Bilic's men were comfortable throughout against Newcastle, and they could have won by a greater margin had they taken all of their chances.
Payet's performance was particularly eye-catching, with the summer signing rapidly establishing a reputation as one of the most exciting players in the Premier League
His skill in possession, combined with his tireless work-rate, means that he has already made quite an impression on the Upton Park faithful, and it appears that his teammates at the club are relishing playing alongside him.
