Dave King and Barry Ferguson have said that Rangers can challenge Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title next season.

Celtic fans have responded via HITC Sport to Dave King and Barry Ferguson’s claims that Rangers will be able to challenge for the Scottish Premiership title next season.

Rangers are in the Scottish Championship at the moment, but they have made a strong start to the 2015-16 campaign and are firm favourites to finish top and get promoted to the Premiership.

The Gers’ bitter rivals, Celtic, have won the league title in the top flight of Scottish football for the past four seasons and are favourites to clinch the Scottish Premiership title this term as well.

Rangers chairman Dave King recently told The Daily Record that the Gers can challenge their Old Firm rivals next season, with the club’s former midfielder Barry Ferguson backing his assertion in The Daily Record.

In response to comments from King and Ferguson, Celtic fans have posted their opinion on the matter on HITC Sport.
