Marsh predicted worrying times for Newcastle following the Magpies’ 2-0 defeat to West Ham United away from home in the league on Monday evening.
Dimitri Payet was the star of the show at the Boleyn Ground, as the France attacking midfielder scored both the goals.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, the Magpies had 61% of the possession, took 14 shots of which just four were on target, and earned seven corners.
The defeat has left Newcastle at the foot of the Premier League table with just two points from five matches.
Former QPR and City forward Marsh was following the match, and he was far from impressed with the performance of Steve McClaren’s side.
Newcastle are back in the Premier League action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Watford at St. James’ Park.
