Tottenham media round-up: Pochettino confident Kane will find form, Son reflects on debut

A selection of the latest stories in the media involving Tottenham Hotspur this Monday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Connor Ogilvie has had his loan spell at Stevenage extended, the BBC reports.

Ogilvie joined on an initial one-month loan at the start of August and has so far made four appearances for the League Two side.

Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino is confident that Harry Kane will start finding the net with regularity pretty soon, the London Evening Standard reports.

Kane has yet to find the net for Spurs in the opening five games so far this season and the Spurs boss expects the marksman to start scoring and have a similar season to last term when he hit the 20-goal mark in the Premier League.

Pochettino is quoted by the London Evening Standard, saying: "I'm very happy with him. Harry gives his best for the team and only needs time to score again. I'm sure the goals will arrive.

"He''s still very confident and was very happy in the dressing room because we have a collective mentality."

Kane didn't find the net during Tottenham's 1-0 win over Sunderland with Ryan Mason getting the only goal of the game to ensure that Spurs got their first win of the campaign.

The game also saw new signing Son Heung-Min make his first appearance for the club following his signing from Bayer Leverkusen, and given it was his first game, the club's new number seven has said the best has yet to come.

He's quoted by the club's official website, saying: “I know I can play better, but this is only my first game. Now I want more. I just need a bit of time to settle in with the team.

“I’m really happy we’ve got our first win. The players were very good, but we're looking to play much better, which we’ll see over the next few weeks.”
