This is the strangest phobia we've ever heard of but he really did look scared!
Everyone has a phobia, from big scary spiders to serial killer looking clowns... pineapples to cats; some are weird and some are logically but some are just really bizarre.
And none probably more bizarre than what West Ham United's Dimitri Payet is seemingly terrified of...it turns out the Frenchman is scared of... bubbles or as it's also known ebulliophobia (yes that's right, we went on Google.)
The midfielder looked absolutely terrified when one flew close to his face and almost touched him! Just watch this video...

Now we know his weakness, surely he won't be so great anymore? Well, just a few minutes after his TERRIFYING bubble attack, he managed to thump home West Ham's opening goal against Steve McClaren's Newcastle United at the Boleyn Ground.
We're guessing opposition fans will be stock up on loads of bubbles whenever Payet and West Ham come to town to knock the classy Frenchman off his game... and it might just work! But we're guessing it won't be long before he gets his own back with a cheeky bit of skill or a thumping goal from about 30-yards out!
