Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony says that Alan Pardew is the Premier League manager he would most like to employ.
The Crystal Palace boss has enhanced his reputation at Selhurst Park, after previous spells with the likes of Charlton Athletic, West Ham United and Newcastle United.
And it seems that the job he has done with Palace has made chairmen across the country take notice of his ability, with MacAnthony saying that he is the manager in the top-flight he would most like to work with.
Yep like Pards for sure. Also impressed with Gary Monk & work he has done in short time. And Koeman! https://t.co/gQq4E6Gc6k— Darragh MacAnthony (@DMAC102) September 11, 2015
Despite MacAnthony's wishes, there is no suggestion that Pardew will become Posh manager at any point in the near future.
The experienced manager has worked wonders with Palace and the project he has at Selhurst Park is a hugely exciting one.
MacAnthony will be looking for a boss who can be similarly successful, though, with his club currently manager less.
The outspoken Irish chairman recently disposed of Dave Robertson, and he is on the look out for a replacement who can help his Posh side move up the League One table.
