Seriously we have no idea how he managed to miss this!
Remember when Fernando Torres was at Chelsea and he was a bit crap? Remember when he danced past David de Gea and rounded him before missing an open goal?
WELL! We reckon this from Manchester City's Jesus Navas may just be worse than Torres'. With the game 0-0 and Manuel Pellegrini's Man City in deadlock with Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace, Navas broke through, showing great pace and footwork to get past the two Palace defenders. He then rounded Julian Speroni with some more fancy footwork, leaving him just an open goal.
Sounds like an easy goal, right? WRONG! He somehow managed to send the ball wide of the target and hit the side netting – no doubt trolling everyone at the other end of the pitch.
Now we know Navas is really right-footed but he is a professional footballer who plays for one of the biggest clubs in the world so you think he'd be able to use his left-foot reliably... but nope!
What we do know is that we reckon Navas will find himself on the bench for the next game and will be forced to do some extra shooting practice.
