The Serbian youngster arrived on a free transfer earlier today.
The transfer window may be shut but West Ham United completed the signing of Luka Belic today. The 19-year-old forward was a free agent after his contract with former club OFK Belgrade had come to an end.
The teenager has impressed for the Serbian under-19 and Serbian under-17 sides in his short career already. The attacker, who made his first-team debut for OFK in 2012 became the youngest player in Serbian League history as he played just seven days after his 16th birthday.
He joins the club on a one-year deal, with an option for a second, and will be hoping to impress in both the under-21s and the first-team.
He is indeed a player that has caught the eye of Slaven Bilic for some time. It is being reported in the wake of the deal that this is not the first time Bilic has tried to sign the teen. According to Sporx, Bilic unsuccessfully tried to bring the talent to Besiktas during his time in Turkey.
It seems he transferred that interest and with Belic available on a free, pulled him in to Upton Park.
Hopefully he can fulfil that talent and prove Bilic right for sticking by his interest.
