North London outfit Tottenham have yet to register a victory in the Premier League this season, but former West Ham boss Redknapp believes that they will have too much for the struggling Black Cats at the Stadium of Light.
“I don’t like the look of Sunderland, they’re really struggling so I think Tottenham will go there and win,” the former Tottenham manager wrote on Kicca.com.
“I am going for Tottenham (to win) 2-1,” former Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp told Sky Sports.
Spurs will head into this afternoon’s encounter on the back of a goalless draw with Everton at White Hart Lane before the international break.
The North London outfit are expected by many to challenge for a top-four finish in the league this season, but the signs are not looking good.
One positive for Spurs is that they are undefeated in their last 10 league games against Sunderland.
Sunderland are struggling for form and for points at the moment, and it looks like that they will be involved in a relegation battle yet again.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham will be favourites to win today, and it will be a surprise if they do not.
