Wolverhampton Wanderers suffered a 2-1 defeat to Bolton Wanderers away from home in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Adam Le Fondre has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Bolton Wanderers away from home on Saturday afternoon.

Kenny Jackett’s side failed to win the Championship encounter, as they went down 2-1 to Bolton at the Macron Stadium.

Liam Feeney met a long ball in the Wolves box to fire Bolton ahead in the 17th minute of the encounter.

Zach Clough made it 2-0 from the penalty spot on the stroke of half time after Ethan Ebanks-Landell brought down Wellington Silva in the area.

Prince-Desir Gouano fouled Le Fondre to allow Benik Afobe to pull one back from the spot midway through the second half, but the hosts held on for the three points.

Following the defeat, Le Fondre, who joined Wolves from Championship rivals Cardiff City on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window, took to Twitter to have his say on the team’s performance and the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Macron Stadium, Wolves had 57% of the possession, took 21 shots of which nine were on target, and earned nine corners.
