Liverpool duo and Manchester United youngster send message to Thibaut Courtois

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been ruled out for three months.

Liverpool striker Christian Benteke and Manchester United attacking midfielder Adnan Januzaj have taken to social networking site Twitter to wish Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois a speedy recovery.

Belgium international goalkeeper Courtois has been ruled out of action for three months with a knee injury, as reported by BBC Sport.

The 23-year-old former Genk star damaged his medial ligaments during training on Wednesday.

Following the report of the extent of the injury, Liverpool duo Benteke and Simon Mignolet (who is also a goalkeeper) as well as United-owned Borussia Dortmund’s 20-year-old attacker Januzaj wished their Belgium international teammate Courtois a speedy recovery on Twitter.

Benteke’s tweet: Good recovery!!

Mignolet’s tweet: A speedy recovery!

Januzaj’s tweet: Courage to you!

The injury to Courtois means that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will have to call upon Asmir Begovic.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international goalkeeper joined the Premier League champions from Stoke City in the summer transfer window.
