Queens Park Rangers and Nottingham Forest will face each other at Loftus Road in the Championship this afternoon…

Queens Park Rangers will be looking to maintain their strong start to the season this afternoon when they take on Nottingham Forest at home.

Rangers will head into the Championship encounter at Loftus Road on the back of a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town away from home.

Chris Ramsey’s side, who have also progressed to the second round of the League Cup, are third in the league table at the moment with 10 points from five matches, just three points behind leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.

Meanwhile, visiting Forest are struggling for form and for points at the moment and find themselves in the bottom half of the Championship table.

Heading into this afternoon’s game, Dougie Freedman’s side find themselves 16th in the standings with five points from as many games, just two points above the relegation zone.
