Confirmed: Arsenal and Stoke City line-ups

Here is how Arsenal and Stoke City will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Arsenal’s players return to domestic action after the international break with a home match against Stoke City this weekend.

The Gunners are currently sixth in the Premier League table with seven points from their first four matches, while Stoke are 18th having only managed two draws and two defeats thus far.

That said the Potters have a number of new signings that, once settled, should take the league by storm, and today’s match is the perfect opportunity for the lies of Xherdan Shaqiri to shine against one of the best sides in England.

Stoke have a woeful recent record away to Arsenal, losing on all of their last 13 trips to North London to face Arsene Wenger’s side.

But with Arsenal struggling to score at home right now, this could be the perfect chance for Mark Hughes’ men to add another upset to their growing list.

With four of their last five away matches in the league ending in draws, Stoke could be a good bet to take a point back to the Britannia Stadium with them this evening.
