Former Sheffield Wednesday defender Andy Hinchcliffe has stated on social networking site Twitter that Uwe Rosler is a good managerial appointment for Leeds United.
Rosler, who has managed Brentford and Wigan Athletic before, was appointed the Leeds head coach at the end of last season.
Hinchcliffe, who played for Manchester City and Everton as well as for Wednesday, believes that the German will prove to be a good managerial appointment for the Whites.
The former England international has also sung the praises of the West Yorkshire outfit’s young players and has praised the club for signing Chris Wood from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
AH: Rosler in a wise move. Got to let him get on with his job. Leeds have great young players & Wood at £3m a snip http://t.co/ueCyzH7ChV— Football League (@SkySportsFL) September 11, 2015
Summer signing Wood has been among the goals for Leeds already this season and appears to have established himself in Rosler’s starting line-up.
The New Zealand international striker has scored three goals and created seven chances in five Championship games so far this campaign.
It was Wood's superb strike which helped Leeds win against Derby County away from home at the iPro Stadium before the international break.
