Dimitri Payet and Angelo Ogbonna have been the two best players for West Ham United so far this season.

Dimitri Payet

Dimitri Payet has been superb for West Ham United so far this season and has been arguably the Hammers’ best player.

The France international attacker midfielder has scored one goal and created nine chances in four Premier League appearances.

Payet has a pass accuracy of 80%, and has won one header, 10 dribbles and three tackles.

Angelo Ogbonna

Angelo Ogbonna is a controversial choice, mainly because he was taken off at half time in the Premier League game against Bournemouth away from home.

However, in his other games, the 27-year-old Italy international defender has done the job at the back.

In four league matches for the Hammers, the centre-back has a pass accuracy of 80%, and has won 15 headers and eight tackles.

Ogbonna, who joined West Ham from Italian champions Juventus in the summer transfer window, was superb against Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London and was good against Leicester City at the Boleyn Ground.
