Rodney Marsh predicts Harry Kane’s future, asks a pertinent question of Tottenham

Rodney Marsh predicts that Harry Kane will leave Tottenham Hotspur in the future.

Former Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh has predicted on social networking site Twitter that Harry Kane will leave Tottenham Hotspur at some point in the future.

Marsh believes that the England international striker will be worth £100 million and will leave White Hart Lane, just like Luka Modric, Michael Carrick and Gareth Bale have over the years.

The former QPR and City star has also asked a key question: why should any player be loyal to Tottenham?

Kane is a very promising young footballer, but he has been playing regular Premier League football for Spurs for just over a season. It is too early to say if the 22-year-old striker will be worth £100m.

However, the point about loyalty raised by Marsh is a pertinent one. Why should any player be loyal to Tottenham, or any other club for that matter?

After all, if Kane had a poor season in 2014-15, does anyone realistically think that he would be leading the line for Spurs this campaign?

Clubs look after their players who they think are going to be important for them. Similarly, players should look after themselves and do what is best for their careers.

If Madrid come calling next summer, does anyone really think that Kane should say no and remain at Tottenham?

Answers on a postcard, please.
