Leeds United ace Jordan Botaka set for instant reunion.

Leeds United new boy Jordan Botaka is aiming for a place in the starting line-up this weekend as he prepares for his Elland Road debut.

A twist of fate sets him on course for an emotional reunion with Marinus Dijkhuizen, the current Brentford boss.

Now with the Bees, Marinus Dijkhuizen was managing Botaka at Dutch side Excelsior last season.

The photo above was taken in August 2014 after Excelsior recorded an earl Eredivisie victory, and it's clear to see the respect the DR Congo international has for his former mentor.

Botaka will be hoping to inflict defeat on his old coach this weekend at Elland Road, as the Whites go for a second successive win to keep up their unbeaten record this season.

Brentford won both home and away against Leeds last season under Mark Warburton, but with playing personnel changes too, do not look the same side, currently 18th, while the Yorkshire club are 10th.
