Danny Welbeck did not let his injury stop him appearing in the club's official team photo.
Arsenal fans might want to take a good look, for this could be the last time they see Danny Welbeck wearing the club's kit for a while.
Welbeck underwent surgery on an injured knee last week, but was healthy enough to act like it was business as usual for the club's team photo on Thursday.
He was snapped in between Gabriel Paulista and Olivier Giroud, as the team completed the formality.
Welbeck's knee injury was an unwelcome blow for him personally, as he risks losing his place in the England side to Tottenham striker Harry Kane, and he is not expected back this calendar year.
Meanwhile at Arsenal he stands to become even more of a forgotten figure, having been pushed out of Arsene Wenger's preferred starting line-up by Olivier Giroud in the second half of last season.
Arsene Wenger was forced to defend his decision not to sign a striker during the transfer window, insisting Welbeck's injury did not change the situation.
He told Arsenal.com: "It doesn’t change anything. You either find someone who strengthens your squad or not. Whether we have players injured or no doesn’t change the problem, that's what I don’t understand from the media."
