Ryan Fulton, pictured centre, was brought into Liverpool's first team training session on Thursday ahead of this weekend's clash with Manchester United.
Fulton, 19, is a Liverpool academy goalkeeper who travelled on tour to Asia with the first team in the summer.
He is currently behind Adam Bogdan as cover for first choice stopper Simon Mignolet, but is a name who could yet make the bench later on this season, even this month in the Capital One Cup with Carlisle.
Fulton signed a scholarship with Liverpool back in 2011, and has been rising through the ranks ever since.
He has represented the club at under-18, under-19, and under-21 level, and his involvement in the first team set up is a strong indication of his positive progress.
Even Adam Bogdan is not seen by many as a steady back-up, making gaffes for former side Bolton, and Fulton could have a chance of elevating himself in the pecking order.
