The Northern Ireland international is happy to be linked with Leeds, where he would team up with international buddy Stuart Dallas.
He was linked with both Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United in The Independent and both would certainly welcome him to their clubs.
Lafferty has even hinted that Leeds could be a genuine location, as reported by Ulster TV.
They are reporting quotes from Lafferty, who has already admitted he would prefer to remain at Norwich for the season, saying he would welcome the chance to play with Leeds United winger and Northern Ireland team-mate Stuart Dallas on a regular basis.
“My striker partner for Northern Ireland Stuart Dallas is at Elland Road, we have got very close during this campaign and it would be great to link up with him if that’s what happens.”
The emergency loan window is currently open and Lafferty is not in first-team contention at Norwich at this moment in time.
His recent form for Northern Ireland has been terrific. The striker scored twice on the recent international break, including a crucial last minute equaliser against Hungary in Belfast.
His heroics have seen Northern Ireland edge toward European Championship qualification, his tally of seven goals only bettered by the Bayern Munich pair Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller, of Poland and Germany respectively.
