Southampton defender Florin Gardos has taken to social networking site Twitter to give an update on his injury.
The 26-year-old centre-back is currently on the sidelines with a knee injury and will not be back in action until early next year.
The Romania international has taken to Twitter to give an update on his situation, stating that he is looking forward to returning to action.
@markjtilbury Getting better, working hard every day. Can walk, but now I need to be able to run. With the ball! :)— Florin Gardoș (@floringardos5) September 11, 2015
Gardos joined Southampton from Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest in the summer of 2014 on a four-year contract.
Much was expected of the centre-back, but the former Concordia Chiajna defender struggled to make an impact for the Saints last season.
The Romania international could make just 11 appearances in the Premier League during the 2014-15 campaign.
Gardos created one chance, had a pass accuracy of 81%, and won 22 headers and 17 tackles.
Southampton have made a disappointing start to the 2015-16 Premier League campaign and find themselves 10th in the league table at the moment with five points from four matches.
