Rangers chairman Dave King has told The Daily Record that he is confident that the team will win the Scottish Championship title this season.
When asked what his expectations are from manager Mark Warburton, King told The Daily Record: “My expectations haven’t changed - I honestly felt we would win this league comfortably.
“I’m not being arrogant but I think we can now prepare for next season. It gives us a lot of time to think about it and get it right.”
King seems pretty confident about Rangers’ chances of winning the Scottish Championship this season, and results in the opening weeks back his stance.
The Gers have won all five of their league games and find themselves at the top of the league table at the moment.
The Glasgow outfit have also progressed to the third round of the Scottish League Cup and to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Challenge Cup.
While King and Rangers fans should be confident, they should not get carried away as it is a long season.
Hibernian will be challenging the Gers for the top spot in the Championship, and the Scottish giants cannot become complacent and should not take anything for granted.
