These two Leeds players should be given more chances

Leeds United Crest

Lee Erwin and Ross Turnbull should get chances for Leeds United as the season progresses.

Lee Erwin

Lee Erwin joined Leeds United from Motherwell in the summer transfer window and has yet to feature in the Championship.

The 21-year-old forward showed his quality and potential in the Scottish Premiership, but it seems that Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler has reservations about playing him in the Championship.

While one can understand that, Rosler needs to give Erwin more chances as the season progresses as he needs playing time to develop himself.

The young Scotsman is a good player and he should be involved more in Leeds’ 2015-16 Championship.

Ross Turnbull

Ross Turnbull is another summer signing who has not featured for Leeds in the Championship this season.

On one hand, that is perfectly understandable. As good a goalkeeper Turbull is, Marco Silvestri is much better. In fact, the Italian is probably one of the top three goalkeepers in the Championship.

However, Rosler should look to play the 30-year-old Turnbull from time to time, such as in cup games or in matches against the lesser sides in the Championship.
