Leeds United signed Jordan Botaka from Excelsior last week.

Botaka arrived at Elland Road on a two-year deal just before the close of the transfer window, and he has taken part in his first training session with his new club.

The Congolese international, who few had heard of before his moved to Yorkshire, arrives from Excelsior in the Eredivisie having already made four appearances this season.

The 22-year-old winger is able to play anywhere across the front line, but his natural role is one the right side, and he signs for the Whites after 12 goals and 11 assists in 84 games in the Netherlands.

Despite being match ready having already played with Excelsior, it is unlikely that Uwe Rosler will start Botaka this weekend. He is sure to continue using the Sam Byram and Stuart Dallas partnership that has worked so well this season, but the youngster will potentially be named on the bench.

He will provide pace and trickery to the Leeds attack, and having started the season with no real natural wingers, it is promising to see Rosler has brought in Botaka and Dallas to increase the attacking threat his side possess.

Fans are excited to see Botaka in action for Leeds, and judging by his training picture, he is excited to take to the field for the Elland Road club.
