Manchester City fans are a passionate bunch, but one supporter took his love of the Sky Blues to a whole new level this week with a tattoo that is unique, to say the least.
The unnamed fan, who goes by the Twitter handle @mancitybear, has been busy showcasing his new ink which serves as an ode to Sergio Aguero and Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler.
As unique a tattoo as you are likely to find, it depicts the Argentine’s famous 95th minute goal in the final game of the 2011-12 Premier League season.
A strike that sealed what had, at one point, seemed an unlikely title win, the inking features Tyler’s famous commentary on the game in all of its glory.
We will probably never have an end-of-season extravaganza to match that magical Manchester City moment, so you can, perhaps, see why this fan would choose to have it immortalised.
It’s also likely to be the last time a Manchester City, or Premier League fan for that matter, has the word "Balotelli" tattooed on their body again, with the Italian now out on loan at AC Milan.
But with match-winning displays like the one that saw him rescue Manchester City’s Champions League campaign with a 3-2 win over Bayern Munich last term still fresh in the memory, we wouldn’t be surprised to see plenty more featuring Aguero.
The Argentine has already made the headlines after a Manchester boy was sent home from school for sporting an “Aguero” haircut.
Something tells us this may only be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the inspired Aguero fandom at the Etihad.
